Yazoo City Gets Full Day Of Events With Freedom Festival
Any longtime Michigander will tell you that some of the best places to watch a Michigan fireworks display are the small beachfront towns. Au Gres is one such place and is nestled on the shores of Lake Huron. Fireworks here begin at dusk near the Au Gres water tower at Court Street and South Street. Explore the boardwalk’s rides, attractions, and restaurants; listen to live music from Lone Star All-Star Trio and the Slags; marvel at a stilt walker; and end the night with a fireworks show over Galveston Bay. Katy is partnering with Typhoon Texas to host its annual fireworks display near Katy Mills Mall.

The world’s largest barbecue competition includes live performances, a festival full of entertainment and plenty other activities, making it one of fall’s signature events. Pay tribute to KC native Charlie Parker, one of the finest and most influential jazz musicians to ever play, at this eight-day event that features live music, public programs and more. This means that several restaurants in that area will have unobstructed views, and apart from the viewing opportunity, they’re also featuring culinary offerings as good as the show.
